Ayushmann Khurrana‘s wife Tahira Kashyap Khurrana is also set to make her directorial debut. And I like the genre she has chosen for her first feature film. The film titled Sharmaji Ki Beti is a slice of life comedy-drama featuring an all-female star cast. The story is a warm and real peek into the lives of urban women, starring Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta, and Saiyami Kher in the lead roles.
While the film has a common chord between the ladies who all have their surname as Sharma, the is said to relate with people from all walks of life. The film produced by Applause Entertainment and Ellipsis Entertainment is already on floors and the shooting is happening in Mumbai and Chandigarh. I am surely finding the tale an interesting one and looking forward to seeing Sharmaji Ki Beti on the big screen.
