Due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, several films which were supposed to release in theatres were put on hold. One of the highly-anticipated biopics, ‘Thalaivii‘ starring Kangana Ranaut was one of them. Now that cinema halls are open in most parts of India, the makers of ‘Thalaivii’ have decided to release the film in theatres on September 10.
The film is based on the life of Jayalalithaa the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Kangana and the makers of the film took to Instagram to share a new poster along with the release date of the film. Expressing her happiness and excitement towards this film, Kangana wrote, “The story of this iconic personality deserves to be witnessed only on the BIG SCREEN! Pave the way, for #Thalaivii as she is all set to make a superstar entry into the world of cinema, yet again, a place where she has always belonged! Thalaivii IN CINEMAS near you on 10th September!”
Kangana who is known to play unconventional roles is all set to entertain us like she always does. This surely is a piece of good news for all fans who have been eagerly waiting for the film to release. What more joy than this? I too am super thrilled about this film and surely can’t wait to see what the entire cast has in store for us.
