Yesterday, a report on Pinkvilla stated that Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal are reportedly planning to collaborate on a new project, however, today it came to notice that Karan has denied any such development, and put rumours to rest.
The exclusive report also stated that the collab news surfaced after Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s highly anticipated film, Ashwathama which was to be helmed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala got shelved.
As per a report on Bollywood Hungama, Karan said-
No, not at all. There is no film with Vicky Kaushal as of now.
On the work front, Vicky will next be seen in Sardar Udham Sindh, a biographical film about Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter. While Karan Johar is all set to step into the director’s shoes again with his next film titled Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles.
