Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone has always been the one who has reached out to people in need. We’ve witnessed her generosity and kindness during the lockdown as well. In the past, Deepika has supported several urgent cases and it is just recently that she has reached out to an acid attack survivor who needs a kidney transplant.
As per the reports of Entertainment Times, Bala is in urgent need of a kidney transplant who is also an acid attack survivor. Bala is a real-life star who was also featured in the Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak‘. As soon as Deepika heard the news about Bala, she immediately decided to extend a helping hand to save her life.
As per several news reports, Deepika has donated a generous amount of Rs. 15 lakhs to the ‘Save Bala’ campaign. Bala’s health has been deteriorating on a daily basis and is in need of an urgent kidney transplant. The fundraiser campaign has been started on a crowdfunding platform as Bala is in need of monetary support.
On the work front, Deepika has been busy with several projects and will next be seen in ‘Pathan‘ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
