Actress Kangana Ranaut has been gearing up to leave us all stunned with her Jayalalitha biopic. The film is titled Thalaivi and every glimpse of it is only raising my anticipation. Kangana seems to have gotten into the skin of the character quite well. In fact, with the pictures floating online, the actress is hard to recognize. And if reports are to be believed, then we will all get to see Kangana’s oh-so-perfect Thalaivi avatar on the OTT space soon.
Even though the film is having a theatrical release on 10th September, just after a month, it will also premiere on OTT platforms. As per a report in News 18, Kangana Ranaut and the Thalaivi team have sold the film for Rs 55 crores to Netflix and Amazon Prime. So, this will be the very first time that a Hindi film will simultaneously release on two OTT platforms. While some will get to see Kangana’s amazing performance on the big screen others also can watch it on the web-space now.

Kangana had also told the portal that films like Thaliavi and Manikarnika cannot be released on OTT platforms because they have been made on a bigger scale. Other than this film, Kangana is all set to make her OTT debut with the Indian adaptation of Temptations Island. Well, I am sure that Thalaivi will be a visual treat. The film’s glimpses have been looking great, so I am looking forward. What about you?
