In our personal opinion, we feel cream foundations are often overlooked or get a bad rep. Gone are days where they had an iffy reputation for giving everyone cake face, the foundations you’ll find on the market now are as decadent as ever. We’ll be honest though if you have oily skin they might not be quite your jam. Although, if your complexion is on the drier side or more mature it can do so much! As the name suggests, cream foundations are well, creamier but they’re also filled with hydrating ingredients! This is what makes them especially great for drier skin types!

Super-versatile they glide on easily and can easily be built up for full coverage or blended out for a more natural or barely-there skin finish. Moreover, now they’re available in a variety of finishes like satin and matte options. So there’s no excuse to not try out the glorious creamy texture for yourself. In fact, you might just find a new favourite foundation! Ready to get started? Ahead we’ve listed a few of our favourite cream foundations.
