A debut film for every actor is very special. It is definitely the same in Bipasha Basu’s case as she celebrates 20 years in Bollywood today. It was 20 years back that the audience welcomed Bipasha as her debut film Ajnabee released. She was seen making her debut opposite Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Bobby Deol The film got great reviews and everyone loved Bipasha’s brilliant performance in the film.
The actress took to Instagram to share a series of pictures where she recalled working for her debut film. She captioned the picture as
“This is the first day when the audiences welcomed me into their hearts, 20 years back my first film #Ajnabee released on 21st September 2001. It doesn’t feel like so much time has passed as the love that I get from my fans, well-wishers, the film fraternity, and the media is still so strong. I am grateful for this love forever”.
It has always been a delight to watch Bipasha on the big screen as she always manages to win our hearts. She has featured in several films since her debut and continues to entertain us with her on-screen presence. I definitely can’t wait to see more of her work in the future.
