‘Sex And The City’ Star Willie Garson Passes Away At 57

Actor Willie Garson, best known for his role as Stanford Blatch in Sex and the City passed away today and the news was confirmed by his son, Nathen Garson, via a post on Instagram. However, the cause of his death was not mentioned.

The news left a huge void, his friends and family took to social media to express their grief over the loss. As per New York Times, Mr. Garson was born William Paszamant on Feb. 20, 1964, in New Jersey to Muriel Paszamant and Donald M. Paszamant. At 13, he started training at the Actors Institute in New York, and he graduated in 1985 from Wesleyan University, where he majored in psychology and theatre, according to the university.

Garson served on the advisory board for You Gotta Believe, an organization that helps youth find permanent families. He will forever be remembered for his brilliant work in several films, and will continue to stay in the hearts of millions of fans across the world.
