The international advocacy organization, Global Citizen in partnership with Wizcraft recently announced that Mumbai, India will be represented in Global Citizen Live’s broadcast event which is set to take place on 25th September. For the uninitiated, Global Citizen is the world’s largest movement of action takers and impact makers. The live event will span over 6 continents, wherein the world leaders, philanthropists and corporations will come together to defend the planet and defeat poverty, to take action on climate change, famine, and vaccine equity.
This year, action and live performances will be broadcasted on the television channels of ZEE and also on ZEE’s digital entertainment platform ZEE5 in India and across the globe. The line-up of artists for the event is just amazing, as we will see to see Amit Trivedi, Ajay-Atul, Badshah & Tanishk Bagchi perform live!
Global Citizen live will be held at the Gateway Of India, Mumbai and will be hosted by Anil Kapoor. The event will be graced by the presence of prominent personalities of our country like- Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Madhuri Dixit, Sadhguru, Varun Dhawan among others. Venkateshwara Hatcheries’ Venkys, is the leading partner for the Global Citizen Live Campaign in India.
