I have been a huge fan of Ali Fazal ever since  I watched Fuckrey. After that, it was the super hit series Mirzapur, wherein he absolutely nailed his character, Guddu bhaiyya. Ali now has a brand new feather in his cap, as his work in the Forget Me Not segment of the recently released anthology titled Ray, bagged him a nomination for Best Actor at the Asia Content Awards By Busan Film Fest!

The Forget Me Not segment of  Ray, which is directed by Srijith Mukherji, is a modern interpretation of Satyajit Ray's story Bipin Chaudhary Ka Smriti Bhram. Ali plays the role of a cut-throat corporate shark who never forgets anything and has a memory of a computer until things take a wrong turn.

Sharing his excitement on the nomination, Ali said-

Wow! This was totally unexpected. I am so humbled to receive this nomination and it means a lot to be recognized by ACA. A lot of great content was produced this year in Asia and to land a nomination amongst such an impressive lineup of films and actors is an honour.

The nomination is surely a big win, isn't it? On the work front, he will soon  be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's next titled Khufiya which will also star Tabu, Ashish Vidyarthi and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.
