Actor Vicky Kaushal has been raising the bar with every performance of his. And he has an amazing line-up further as well, however, one of his most anticipated projects for me has been Sardar Udham Singh‘s biographical film. The film is based around the freedom fighter who took revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of Amritsar. Now isn’t that a story which would be interesting to watch?
The makers had dropped a poster of the film a few days back which built just the right hype for the trailer. And now that Sardar Udham‘s trailer is released, I must say, I am impressed, not just with Vicky, but also with director Shoojit Sircar.
The 2-minute 29-seconds trailer shows us a glimpse of Udham Singh’s operation, from the planning stage to its execution. We see him travel to England under a false name, pursue his prey across the city, and then execute the assassination.

Well, the trailer is certainly giving me goosebumps, and the way Vicky has gotten into the skin of the character is just commendable. The film also stars Banita Sandhu and Amol Parashar in pivotal roles. Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, Sardar Udham will release on 16th October on Amazon Prime.
Even though we have seen Vicky in various characters, this one by far is the most intriguing, I feel. And I have to say, I am looking forward to seeing this amazing story unfold.
