Recently, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Nitesh Tiwari, and Madhu Mantena were spotted together outside Namit Malhotra's office, and ever since then, lots have speculations have been ding rounds. However, looks like, there is some clarity on this meeting and I have to say, it is a big deal. If the latest Bollywood Life report is to be believed then Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to share screen space in a mythological drama.
Reportedly, there was a closed-door meeting between Ranbir, Hrithik, Nitesh, Madhu, and Namit to take things further on the magnum opus titled Ramayana. In fact, some important decisions have also been made in this meeting, a big one being that Hrithik will play Raavan, while Ranbir will be Ram in the project. An actress for playing Sita is yet to be finalized, but few names have been discussed.
The report further states that the makers are keen on presenting this epic drama on a bigger scale and in a unique manner. An initial budget of Rs 300 crores has been reported, and it is said that the film will be made using the latest technology in a manner that it does not only connects with the youth but also has a global appeal.
Official confirmations about the details are yet to be made, but if this turns out to be true, then this would surely be a film I would want to watch on the big screen. Especially, Hrithik and Ranbir sharing screen space.
