Both Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are riding high on their careers. I am absolutely loving the kind of films these actors are taking up on the big screen. With so many diverse roles, both Kartik and Kriti are set to leave us enthralled, however, my favorite will be them sharing screen space together once again with Shehzada. And I am super happy to know that both the actors have started shooting for the film yesterday.
The action-packed film is being shot on a massive set in Mumbai and there will be various schedules that will be shot in the city. Touted to be a musical family entertainer, Shehzada will also be shot in Delhi, the shooting will go on for several months. This morning the cast shared the film’s logo, but what caught my attention was Kartik’s caption on Instagram. While sharing the logo he wrote ‘world’s poorest prince’ and his words are only making me wonder if this is a major hint about his character in the film.

The film is said to be a remake of the Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Producers Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind and Aman Gill want to mount it on a lavish scale. Other than Kartik and Kriti it also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar, and the film is being directed by Rohit Dhawan. The makers have also announced that Shehzada will release on 4th November, 2022.
Talking about the film producer Bhushan Kumar says,
“I’ve been wanting to mount a big scale family action-packed musical film for a long time, I’m excited to be teaming up with Rohit Dhawan, Allu Arvind and Aman Gill on this film, I’m eagerly looking forward to the magic Kartik, Kriti, Pritam and the rest of the team will create in Shehzada.”
Well, after Luka Chuppi I am excited to see Kartik-Kriti together once again. I already cannot keep calm, 2022 just come already!
