Kajol is probably still the biggest heartthrob in Bollywood; her radiant smile does all the talking doesn’t it? The actress had a pretty good run in 2020 and it seems that this good run is following her into 2021 as well. She was recently seen in a pivotal role in Netflix’s Tribhanga alongside Mithila Palkar and Tanvi Azmi. She currently has Rajkumar Hirani‘s untitled comedy with Shah Rukh Khan, Revathi‘s The Last Hurrah, Velaiilla Pattadhari 3 and Sasi Lalitha, a biopic where she plays the lead role. Happy to know that we’re definitely going to see her in at least 4 upcoming projects and a lot more sartorial inspo coming our way, we guess!
Amyra Dastur who made her Bollywood debut with the Prateik Babbar in Issaq has come a long way. Her last release Koi Jaane Na, a psychological thriller film opposite Kunal Kapoor didn’t do as well as we had hoped but she’s currently bust with promotions for Bagheera, a Tamil mystery thriller with Prabhu Deva in the lead role along with Sakshi Agarwal, Janani Iyer and Gopinath Ravi as well. Let’s take a closer look at Kajol’s Fuschia pink saree:
For her Durga Puja celebrations with her family, celebrity stylist Radhika Mehra styles Kajol in a soft rani pink saree by Punit Balana. The edges of this pure chiffon saree are highlighted with subtle resham work. Her saree is paired with a plunging V-neck resham & mirror embroidered blouse that peeks through the elusive sheerness of the saree. She accessorises her look with a signature Punit Balana potli that matches the same handiwork on her blouse. A stunning encrusted choker necklace from Minerali Store and statement rings from Motifs By Surabhi Didwania add refined elegance and glamour to her look but the green glass bangles were a surprise element that really turns this look around. To match the bangles she adds a tiny green bindi as well.
Kajol’s hair is styled with a middle parting and a low but neat bun. She opts for daytime glamour with dewy skin, brown eyeshadow with black eyeliner, rosy-tinted cheeks and a muted pink lip. Love how effortlessly her look came together.

Amyra opts for a side-swept, middle-parted hairstyle with soft curls on the bottom. Clean and fresh on the face with a hint of blush on her cheeks. Pinkish barely-there eyeshadow and nude pink lips complete her look—monochromatic makeup for the win, no?
