In the past few days, the gorgeous Diana Penty has treated her fans to some magical pictures and videos of her from Northern India. And no, she is not on a vacation. The pretty lady has been shooting with Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the film Adbhut and the schedule kicked off in the first week of October in Shimla. Directed by Sabbir Khan, Adbhut also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary and Rohan Mehra and the makers had planned an extensive shooting schedule in the hilly regions of North India. However, while the team wrapped a weeklong shoot in Shimla, their Manali schedule had to be halted owing to heavy rains as per a report in Bollywood Hungama.

A source from the unit said:

There was an unexpected amount of rainfall and we were shooting outdoors. We waited for a few hours for the rains to subside but when it poured on for a good couple of hours, we decided to cancel the shoot for the day. The shoot has been halted for the next two days in Manali after the weather department further predicted heavy rains for 48 hours.

But did this hurdle come in the way of the cast and crews high spirits? Not one bit! Sabbir Khan absolutely knows how to keep things lively and with the cast and crew staying together for the last two weeks, the unexpected break has given the director a chance to spend some quality time with everyone. From planning impromptu gatherings going on till the wee hours of the morning to enjoying the food together, team Adbhut is living it up in Manali. I must say, this has definitely got me envying the team!

Confirming this information, Sabbir said:

It was a completely unexpected change in weather and shooting outside in the rains with a crew of this size is risky. Rains in hills are also known to cause landslides and I didn’t want to put my team in any sort of physical danger. We will make up for the lost time in the days to come. For now, it’s heartwarming to see them enjoy it together. These are the memories that stay after the film is over!

After filming with Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Sethia and Shilpa Shetty for Nikamma, Adbhut is Sabbir’s sixth film. While I am curious about the film itself, right now all I can think of is how much fun the team is having and how I wish I was there to witness the magic too.
