It is a well-established fact that Vidyut Jammwal is one of the best action heroes in recent times. So, watching him in any movie is a treat to anyone who loves rough-and-tough action sequences. And so, it is not a surprise that Vidyut was appreciated by fellow star Varun Dhawan after the former’s latest film Sanak – Hope Under Siege was released. Taking to his social media account, Varun praised Vidyut’s moves.

Praising the film, Varun tweeted:

Speaking about the response received by the film, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah said:

The response to Sanak is absolutely fantastic. All the reactions by the viewers across social media platforms have been amazing. The reviews by the greatest of the reviewers have been superb, so overall it has been a very encouraging response. The film has become the highest viewed film of last week, in spite of IPL finals, which is a very big thing for us. The film has been loved and appreciated by the audiences so much that we are humbled and we thank the audience for so much love. Please continue to love and see more. It’s a very difficult film made under difficult circumstances and we are all very happy and excited about this response.

Debutante Rukmini Maitra said:

I would like to thank each and every one for loving ‘Sanak’ and making it the most viewed film on OTT. I am extremely grateful. The team ‘Sanak’ is ecstatic with the overwhelming and staggering response the film has been receiving. Please keep the love and support coming in and for all those who have not watched the film yet, please watch it on Disney+ Hotstar.

The Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Zee Studios’ co-production has become one of the most viewed films with 6.8 million views during the week of October 18, 2021 to October 24, 2021. Sanak – Hope Under Siege released on October 15, 2021 and has been ranked as the film with the highest views by Ormax Media (in the list of the most-viewed shows and movies).

Besides Vidyut, Sanak‘s cast includes debutante Rukmini Maitra, Neha Dhupia and Chandan Roy Sanyal. It is a Kanishk Varma directorial which, in my opinion, is getting all the much-deserved appreciation. So, watch it if you haven’t yet!
