This is one wedding that we all had been waiting for since a very long time. Every time someone would pop the question to Rajkummar Rao or Patralekhaa about them getting married, they would say that there was still time for that. But now, that time seems to have finally come. The lovebirds are married and Raj has donned the sehra for real this time and not as a character in a movie.
It’s an established fact now that Raj and Patralekhaa chose Chandigarh as their wedding destination and had invited a select few friends along with family members for the ceremony. While we saw beautiful pictures day before yesterday from a supposed white-themed cocktail party that the duo had, yesterday was very quiet. Nobody managed to leak any pictures except a wedding invite for a virtual event surfaced online. However, now the wait is over as the bride and groom themselves have shared magical pictures from their wedding ceremony and trust me, I am mesmerised by the beauty of the clicks. So pure, so real and so dreamy!

Pretty pictures, right! And it’s not just me who thinks so. Several Bollywood celebrities rushed to drop congratulatory messages and shower their blessings over the newlyweds in the comments section of their posts. While Anil Kapoor said to Raj, “Congratulations my friends .. wish I could be there in Chandigarh to celebrate ..see you’ll soon as mr and Mrs Rajkumar Patralekha when back in mumbai .. ❤️❤️❤️❤️”, Priyanka Chopra wrote for Patralekhaa, “Omgeeee you guys are stunning! Congratulations.” Many others including, Sanya Malhotra, Bhumi Pednekar, Farah Khan, Vasan Bala, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Sonam Kapoor, Shruti Haasan, Kiara Advani and Nushrratt Bharuccha too sent their best wishes.
Speaking of their outfits, they chose to be simply yet beautifully dressed. While Raj was dressed in an amazing cream coloured sherwani with a red pagdi, Patralekhaa wore a very pretty red lehenga with just about enough jewellery. She looked right out of a fairytale wedding and I can only pray to God that the glow on the couple’s faces stays like this forever!
