In the last three years, Kartik Aaryan has faced a rise in his career and has finally made it to the big leagues. The proof of that? He now has releases planned around his birthday as Dhamaka releases on November 19, just three days before his big day. Having witnessed his career growth in front of my eyes, it seems well deserved where the actor has reached. But while he is prepared for Dhamaka’s release, his birthday plans for this year are still in question.
In an interaction with Pinkvilla, when asked about how he plans to celebrate his birthday this year with Dhamaka also releasing around the same time, Kartik opened up saying he hasn’t figured it out yet.
Here’s what he had to say:
“I haven’t decided yet because we are promoting (Dhamaka). But hopefully I get a chance to think about what I want to do on my birthday. I am very bad with planning, and it’s always the last minute. (It’s like) ‘Ok, let’s party’, or in the night it’s planned that tomorrow let’s party. So I am that kind of a person, or maybe I might go out for dinner with my family’
There have been rumours floating around that like many of the actors from his generation including Taapsee Pannu and Deepika Padukone, he is also planning to venture into production. So, obviously, a clarification was in order on that subject too.
Here’s what Kartik said about his production plans:
“It’s too soon to comment on it.”
Dhamaka is not the first time that Kartik, who is known for his romcoms, is dabbling into the serious genre, and having witnessed his performance in Akaash Vani, I am sure that he would do wonders as Arjun Pathak and the world will get to see a new Kartik on the actor’s birthday. Meanwhile, he also has an enviable line-up for the coming years that includes Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Sameer Vidhwans’ next, Captain India, Shehzada and Freddy and I believe that the next few years will establish him as a force to be reckoned with.
