Supremely talented Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez will be appearing together in Ram Setu alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha. The cast and crew recently wrapped a schedule in Ooty and were supposed to continue the shoot in Sri Lanka, however, due to certain reasons, they had to shift the shoot location to Daman near Gujarat. The pandemic has already caused too much delay in the completion of the shoot and the makers are trying their level best to finish it off at the earliest.
A source informed ETimes that the team of Ram Setu could not shoot in Sri Lanka due to Covid protocols and that is why they shifted the entire shooting schedule to Daman where it may take longer than expected. The source further added that the Daman schedule of Ram Setu will see Akshay, Jacqueline, and Nushrratt together and that they are going to be filming several action scenes at the location.
Ram Setu is being directed by Abhishek Sharma and I am eager to get more updates from this film as Akshay and Jacqueline are known to create magic on screen. Meanwhile, Akshay has a long list of other films in the pipeline including Gorkha, Atrangi Re, Oh My God 2, Bachchan Pandey, and Raksha Bandhan.
