Actor Simba Nagpal was the first one from the bottom six to get evicted from Bigg Boss 15. And while his journey was a smooth one in the house, Simba’s not-so-active stance in the game was what had many complaining. But turns out that being proactive was not what Simba was looking at while on the show. After his eviction, I got into a conversation with Simba Nagpal and we spoke about his journey on the game, right from not being active to his plans ahead.

Here are some excerpts from his interview…

On how he feels to be back in the real world…

It is a different feeling to step out of a house where you have spent so much time. I miss the people from the house badly, and honestly I haven’t interacted much with people outside, only a few close ones, who are happy for my journey. I made friendships on Bigg Boss 15 for life, not just for the game. I am sure they too will meet me after the game, I hope the best for them.

On who will miss the most from Bigg Boss 15…

Right now, I am missing Salman (Khan) Bhai the most, because no matter how many people pointed a finger at me in the house, or even if I haven’t put in much effort, Bhai had always seen the real me. He realized that I was being real, and I didn’t do anything just to be seen. I adore this quality about him.

On not being very active in the game…

I had actually promised myself to be the way I am. In real life too I am like that, completely chilled about situations. I am extremely passionate about the things I do, so if it’s a character, I put my heart and soul into it. But in a reality show, they expect us to be real. I didn’t want to simply get into fights to be seen, I wanted to show my fans the real Simba. I tried to show my fun side, but it didn’t reach the viewers. What was seen right according to the game, was shown. My involvement in the game was not too much, because I didn’t want to give my input to the relationship politics and backbiting. I am not at all hungry for screen space or content, for me, it’s all about my passion and the right thing.

On his future plans…

I am an actor, and I want to continue my journey that way. Bigg Boss was just an experience I accepted as a challenge. I am looking for a good character, I am getting offers, but I want to do something where I can act, rather than focus a banner or the medium.

I wish Simba all the very best, and I hope to see him do some great one in the times ahead.
