The legendary Salim Khan and his family have been entertaining the Indian audience through their work in Hindi films for several decades now and it has been a pleasure for me to witness that first hand. Be it through his films like Zanjeer, Deewaar, Don or Sholay, or wife Helen’s iconic dancing skills, their contribution to Hindi cinema has been memorable to say the least. The next generation of his family took their legacy even further by giving a superstar like Salman Khan and his brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan too followed their father’s footsteps. Three years ago, the newest addition to their family, Aayush Sharma also entered the industry and now reportedly the next generation is all set to hit the ground running and I am excited for it.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Salman is all set to launch niece Alizeh’s debut movie next month. The 21-year-old is Salman’s sister Alvira Agnihotri’s daughter with husband Atul Agnihotri and will be reportedly getting a grand launch. As per a source, Alizeh has been getting acting, dancing and drama lessons for over two years and the family feels she is ready to take the plunge into showbiz now. Even the late choreographer, Saroj Khan, played an important part in her training.

The youngster’s debut would be bankrolled by Salman Khan Films and Atul and Alvira’s Reel Life Productions, and will be in the romance genre. The makers are currently finalising the cast and crew of the film and Salman wants to make the grand announcement of this big news himself. The film is expected to go on floors next year and release in 2023.

Earlier speculations suggested that Alizeh was about to be launched by a Sooraj Barjatya production, the filmmaker’s son Avnish’s debut directorial, opposite Sunny Deol’s younger son Rajveer Deol but now reportedly Alizeh is no longer a part of it.

Going by the legacy of the Khan family, Alizeh has a lot to live up to but going by the social media presence of the youngster and her photoshoots in the recent years, I am sure that she will do justice to the family name.
