John Abraham and action are a match made in heaven on screen. Recently, the actor showed three-times his action skills in a triple role in Satyameva Jayate 2 and very soon, on Republic Day next year, he will return to it in Attack and I am quite excited to witness that. The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh alongside John and having witnessed the chemistry between Jacky and John in Dishoom and Housefull 2, I am intrigued to see how has that evolved over the years. And as per the latest reports, I might be getting a romantic song in the film to see that.
According to a report in Mid-Day, while the team of Attack is currently working in full swing to wrap up the post-production portion of the film to meet the announced release date, director Lakshya Raj Anand has decided to shoot for a romantic number with John and Jacqueline in Kochi, Kerala. This would take place in the second week of December, over a three-day schedule.
A source close to the film said:
“The planning for this special number, that is one of the highlights of the film, had been on for a while and Lakshya had been on the lookout for the perfect location. Kochi with its natural beauty was the ultimate choice, and John and Jacqueline will leave for Kerala in the coming week to begin rehearsals and shoot the song from December 7th to 9th.”
An action-packed film based on a hostage crisis, that according to the film’s announcement has a national effect, Attack had been waiting for more than a year-and-a-half for a theatrical release, and as a viewer, even I have been waiting with bated breath for it. Over the years, John has built a brand for himself, and any film coming from that brand automatically gets associated with huge expectations. But the premise and cast of Attack shows a lot of promise, so I believe all these expectations, will be met.
