I remember watching Mohabbatein and getting mesmerized by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, since then I have only adored her. Aishwarya has time and again proved her mettle as an actor in both Bollywood and Hollywood. Now, according to a report in News 18, Aishwarya is going to star in an Indo-American film that is going to be an adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s book Three Women.

The film will mark the directorial debut of Isheeta Ganguly who shared that the Aishwarya starrer will be called The Letter. The film revolves around the letters of Kadambari Devi, Rabindranath Tagore’s sister-in-law. As per the director, Aishwarya is delighted by the script. The film was originally going to be made in Hindi but later on, both agreed to make it in English.

Talking about this the director said:

Aishwarya and I were in discussion before the pandemic hit. I was originally looking to make it as a Hindi film. When she read the script she felt that the film would fly in English given the urban American sensibilities of the story. It was her conviction that I decided to make it into an Indo-American film.

A story by Rabindranath Tagore, headlined by Aishwarya is really going to be a visual treat, and I am so looking forward to it.
