Riteish Deshmukh has been one of the most talented actors in Bollywood and I can’t agree more. The actor’s comic timing in Masti, Malamaal Weekly, Heyy Babyy, and Dhamaal has been impeccable. And I was amazed by Riteish’s versatility after he played a lover in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya opposite wifey Genelia Deshmukh and a negative role in Ek Villain. The actor has also worked in the Marathi film industry as an actor and a producer, and now according to a report in Times Of India, Riteish is all set to direct his first Marathi film.
The reports further stated that the team will wrap the entire shoot in almost two months, which has just begun. Riteish is the producer, actor, and director of the film so he is going to be pretty busy. The makers are hoping to release the film next year at fanfare. Riteish was very intrigued by the story which made him direct the film in the first place.
So, now we know that Riteish will be juggling three hats in this new film, and boy, that’s a lot of work! I really admire his commendable efforts. I am also really excited to see Riteish and Fardeen Khan back together again in their upcoming film Visfot.
I have always admired Riteish’s work, be it in Hindi or Marathi cinema and now his directorial debut has left me inquisitive, so I await more updates on the same.
