Rumour has it that Katrina Kaif will be seen in a mint green lehenga for her big day. Of course, we have an inkling that she too might opt for Sabyasachi like all our other famous B-town brides. But because of all the wedding excitement and since pastel coloured outfits have been quite the trend in Indian weddings we thought we might put together a list of looks from India’s top bridalwear designers.

Especially since many brides are breaking away from the stereotypical red lehenga and opting for much more light and fun colours. These pastel outfits give off some major fairytale vibes and we’re here for it! Pastel green is a versatile and fresh colour that no matter what season we’re in you’ll always look well-put-together. Any pastel shade that you opt for is a sure-fire way to make a statement on your wedding day.

Here’s a look at some of our favourite pastel green lehengas:

1. Sabyasachi

This printed organza, silk, lehenga is an absolute dream for a summer wedding! The skirt features a floral and leaf print all over giving it a fun, refreshing look. What I love is that it comes with a dupatta that matches the skirt. Another feature that really makes this look stand out is the gold embellished, long-sleeved blouse that matches the gold hemline with embellishments. This look screams modern and elegant and is perfect for the non-traditional bride to be!

2. 𝗔mit 𝗔ggarwal

If you’re looking for a contemporary and stylish twist, this structured lehenga is the way to go. This lehenga features a 3D hand-embroidered blouse with quirky floral detailing and a double drape along the sleeves. The high-waisted skirt with a metallic waistband gives the illusion of a belt cinching the waist in. And the most striking feature of this outfit has to be the silver and metallic green chevron lines across the whole skirt that deliver on the structured aspect of the overall look. Smashing look to say the least!

3. Manish Malhotra

A traditional but modern bride is sure to fall in love with this heavily embroidered lehenga from Manish Malhotra that is sure to make heads turn at one’s wedding! The min green base is topped off with gold filigree cutwork all over the lehenga making it look classy AF. The outfit comes with a half-sleeve blouse that features a deep, scoop neck and a cut-out on the back that adds to the glam quotient of the look. Since the outfit comes with a sheer dupatta, it might do one well to find an interesting or unique way to drape and feature it, elevating the regalness of the overall look.

4. Tarun Tahiliani

This two-piece lehenga looks like something straight out of a Disney movie. It has an exquisitely crafted, peplum-style corset that adds romance to this blooming creation. 3-dimensional flowers in muted pink and beadwork fill up the bodice of the outfit. The top features a strap with 3-D created flowers on one side and the other features a beaded, tulle drape that gives the impression of a dupatta. The soft pairing of colours and the effortlessness of the indo-western mashup really make this joyous outfit one for the books!

5. Anita Dongre

If you like simple and striking clothes then this Anita Dongre might be right up your alley. Constructed with a bustier that has barely-there, spaghetti straps and a skirt that is lushly filled with romantic wildflowers in pink. The matching sheer dupatta adds to the easy-breezy vibe of the look and feel of this outfit. The best part though is that this outfit has pockets which I’m sure any bride would be immensely grateful for.

6. Anamika Khanna

For a more traditional and classic look, this green pastel lehenga from Anamika Khanna fits right in. It is heavily embroidered at the bottom which fades at the top in an ombre style giving off an elegant look. The blouse looks to match the embellishments cohesively and comes in a high-neck, button-down style. Gold and pink detailing across the lehenga complement the pastel green colour perfectly. It also has an organza dupatta with similar designs and a thick gold border that matches the details on the skirt.

7. Falguni & Shane Peacock

Here are two lehengas in different styles, but the same colour palette that just proves that this pastel green suits everyone. While both the lehenga skirts have heavy and stunning, gold embroidery, their blouses and dupattas feature different looks. One has a deep-neck with gold foil detailing and tassels and the other has a more modern look with a halter-neck and off-the-shoulder style and a trim of smaller gold tassels. Both the tulle dupattas had similar detailing’s as their skirts. One of them featured a scalloped hemline and the other one had a classically structured hemline. All in all, these both are excellent choices for your Shaadi.
