Tiger 3: Salman Khan Resumes Filming In Mumbai

Shivam Mishra

Back when Ek Tha Tiger was released, I remember seeing swarms of people rushing to the theatres in front of my eyes and trust me, the film was totally worth it. Salman Khan has always managed to entertain us with many great action hits and I am especially a fan of his Dabangg franchise, I really look up to the character Chulbul Pandey. The actor is soon going to take another franchise forward with the third instalment of the Tiger series, titled Tiger 3. According to a report by Midday, Salman Khan has started the shoot for Tiger 3 already and is going to be swamped up this entire month.

A trade source shared:

Since late September, Salman had been shooting for the film at the Yash Raj Studios in Andheri. The production design team was simultaneously rebuilding the set. It will serve as the backdrop for several heavy-duty action scenes where Salman’s RAW agent Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger and Katrina Kaif’s character Zoya Humaimi will take on the bad guys. On Monday, the director canned a bike chase sequence featuring Salman and the baddies.

Amidst the shoot, Salman also has Bigg Boss and the Dabangg tour, about which the source continued:

He flew out for Dabangg: The Tour Reloaded show that is slated for December 10. He will fly back to the country on December 11, heading straight to the Bigg Boss sets for the Weekend Ka Vaar shoot. After that, Salman will resume filming of Tiger 3 from December 13 at the SRPF Grounds. The stint will go on till Christmas.

The set had been built back in May, which was later damaged by the cyclone. Back then, Aditya Chopra insisted on not having the set rebuilt however after re-evaluating things with director Maneesh Sharma, everything was constructed again.

So far, we know that Salman Khan is going to be seen opposite Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, with the latter playing the negative role this time. So that’s just one more reason to watch the film besides its heavy-duty action, and I am really excited for it.
