Seeing the wedding season at its peak in Bollywood right now reminded me of all the Bollywood weddings that happened in the recent years. Amongst them, my favourite has to be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s because I ship this couple so bad and I find them the most adorable power couple out there in showbiz. These two never shy away from showering love on each other and treat the other one as royalty. And there’s a reason behind this marriage being so beautiful that Deepika recently revealed.
In an interview with Film Companion, the actress opened up on the secret behind her wonderful marriage with Ranveer, and it’s as basic as one can imagine. Something that we take for granted and forget to do.
She said:
“One of the best things we have is communication. We communicate a lot. We might agree, we might disagree. But when you communicate, it makes marriage much easier. Yes, there are battles where he will win and I will have to say okay fine, take this win. There are times when I might say something and I may be very firm about my belief and he might say that yeah okay I disagree with you but If this is what you think then okay but I disagree with you.”
Last month, on their third wedding anniversary, the couple took a trip to Almora, away from the hustle and bustle and shared some sweet stills from that getaway that just made me love them a little bit more.

Talking about those pictures, Deepika said:
“This holiday, we wanted to share some part of our life. I know there are my fans here and they kept messaging me. We spoke about it. And we knew they would be disappointed if we didn’t put anything out. So, this one was for all of you. And luckily, we agreed upon which pictures we wanted to put and how many pictures we want to put. We agreed on that. So that was easy.”
Deepika and Ranveer are the true representation of true love that can exist in Bollywood, something that sceptics don’t believe in. The duo knows how to pamper each other and lift the other one up at every step and that’s what makes them work and let them stand out. Be it in their films together or off the screen, Ranveer and Deepika have always made me believe in true love and I would forever adore these two. And that’s what makes me a little bit more excited for Kabir Khan’s ’83, with it being their first project together since their wedding three years ago. So, till the time I get to see them reunite on screen, I am going to go and adore these two a little more through their pictures.
