Varun Dhawan has always played around with the kind of work he does and that’s what I love about him. While he will do commercial entertainers like Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2 and Coolie No 1, he will also mix it up with some hard-hitting films like Badlapur, October and Sui Dhaaga. In his upcoming line up too, the actor is working with some amazing filmmakers on diverse films. Yesterday, the rumour mills were abuzz with the news that Varun is planning to team up with Nitesh Tiwari and now there is another interesting development on that.
According to a report in ETimes, the project between Varun and Nitesh is final and they are indeed working together. To add to that, the project is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and the shoot for it will begin in March 2022.
Nitesh had expressed an interest in working with Varun back in 2017 in a project that was reportedly to be backed by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, and was an adaptation of Varun Agarwal’s 2012 bestseller ‘How I Braved Anu Aunty And Started A Million Dollar Company’. But this project is not the one that Nitesh and Varun are doing. The new project is also not the same project that Varun had signed with Sajid earlier this year, which is reportedly titled Sanki and has Varun playing a handicapped cop. This is a different project altogether for which all the three invested parties are excited for.
Nitesh has always brought out the best in his scripts and his actors so I am sure that this collaboration will do wonders for Varun, and with a line up that includes Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Bhediya and Ekkis, this is going to be another diverse and amazing addition to that and will set the actor apart.
