Definitely making heads turn, Deepika took the red carpet by storm in a strapless black gown by designer-duo Gauri and Nainika. Styled by Shaleena Nathani, this gorgeous, black number that was custom-made for her accentuated the diva’s hourglass figure perfectly. The dress features a daring, plunging andmsweetheart neckline that amplifies the wow factor of the dress. The velvet material is quite season-appropriate and adds more character to the look. It also cinches in at the waist and proceeds to flow into a long train that gives her a regal look. All in all her look exuded glamour and left us swooning. If by any chance I ever walk a red carpet, this is certainly the look I’d go for!
Accessories & Makeup
Adding to the royal vibe, she accessorised the look with a statement, diamond-studded necklace with an emerald pendant from Vandals and a diamond-studded ring to match from Diosa Paris. For her makeup which was done by Anil C, she opted for bold, winged eyeliner with a dab of metallic eyeshadow and a nude lipstick giving her a vintage vibe. Her cropped hair, done by Yianni Tsapatori was side-parted into tousled, lustrous waves that framed her face and highlighted her sharp features. I could only wish to rock short hair this well! The accessories and makeup complemented her dress flawlessly.
