Biopics are always wonderful to witness, especially because they bring to us a life story whose journeys touch our hearts. And one such biopic in the making is on superstar Rajesh Khanna. The film is produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and is to be reportedly helmed by Farah Khan. I would be quite excited to witness the story of the actor for whom the term superstar was actually coined. The film is based on Gautam Chintamani’s bestseller, Dark Star: The Loneliness Of Being Rajesh Khanna.
As of now, there is no clarity on which actor will step into the shoes of playing the role of the legendary actor in this biopic. However, it is said that Farah and Gautam are working on the script together. For those who don’t know Rajesh Khanna’s stardom was such that ladies married his photographs, wrote him letters actually written with blood and his female fans were quite heartbroken when he married actress, Dimple Kapadia.

Yes, I have read Gautam’s book and it’s very fascinating. It’s definitely an exciting story. We are in a conversation over this but I cannot comment more.
Talking about this biopic Nikhil Dwivedi says,
Yes, I’ve acquired the rights to Gautam Chintamani’s book, Dark Star, and I’m in talks with Farah Khan to make the film. That’s all I can say for now. As and when any major development happens, I’ll be happy to share because I’m really very excited about bringing Rajesh Khanna’s story to the big screen.
Rajesh Khanna who was fondly known as ‘Kaka’ had quite the journey and I am very excited to witness this on the big screen.
