I have been awestricken by the physical transformation Emraan Hashmi has shown for his role of the antagonist opposite Salman Khan in Tiger 3. Although, the actor never admitted to being a part of the film on record, over the last year, he has shared his journey of transformation on social media. And I have to say that his latest picture of his jacked up physique that he posted around the New Year had me gob smacked, and now it seems like the actor is all set to take on his on-screen rival.
According to a report in ETimes, Emraan and Salman are reuniting this month to shoot for an action sequence at the SRPF ground set that will be supervised by some acclaimed international action directors. Shah Rukh Khan, who is doing a cameo as Pathan in Tiger 3, was rumoured to be shooting for his part this month as well, but the report suggests that SRK will be canning his part for Tiger 3 in February. Recently on his birthday, Salman had confirmed his cameo in Pathan and SRK’s cameo in Tiger 3, along with both the films’ release plan while hinting at a possible team up film between Tiger and Pathan.
Earlier reports had suggested that Salman and Katrina Kaif were to head to Delhi this month for a final leg of the schedule, which will mark the wrap up of Tiger 3. The Maneesh Sharma-directorial has been shot extensively in Mumbai and in international locations over the last year.
This spy universe that Yash Raj Films is creating has me beaming with excitement, ever since its inception. It’s not just your big heroes, but with antagonists like Emraan and John Abraham, this world is promising grandeur at its best in all departments. Tiger 3 is one of the most anticipated film of 2022 and while things are looking a bit bleak right now due to the surge in Covid cases in the country, I am hopeful that it will improve soon and I will get to see Tiger 3 in theatres for when it is planned, and that too in theatres, safely and soundly.
