The new year seems to be about new beginnings for many of our actors this year. It was just yesterday that we learned about actress Mouni Roy getting married in Goa this month and seems like the celebrations will continue to the next week with Karishma Tanna taking the plunge on February 5. I remember how the Naagin 3 actress took us all by surprise with her engagement pictures in November last year. In case you don’t know, Karishma was rumored to be dating Mumbai-based businessman Varun Bangera for quite some time and the couple put an end to all speculation with exchanging rings during their Dubai vacation last year.
Their engagement was an intimate affair and looks like the couple also wants to keep the wedding private. Recently, Karishma and Varun were spotted in the city and while the Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 winner posed for the shutterbugs, Varun chose to stay away. It was during this interaction that Karishma confirmed about getting married on the 5th of February.

Earlier a report in the Times Of India had stated that the wedding will take place in Mumbai and the celebrations will begin from February 4 with mehendi and sangeet ceremony. The Haldi and wedding will happen on 5th and on 6th the couple will throw a reception for friends. And I am sure that the Varun-Karishma wedding will be a dreamy affair. Reportedly. Karishma doesn’t want any undue attention around the wedding, she wants to be a closed affair with family and friends.
Workwise we saw Karishma last in the film Lahore Confidential and in the web show Bullets. I wish her all the best in her new beginnings.
