Katrina Kaif filled my heart with joy as she shared some cute and loved-up pictures with husband Vicky Kaushal yesterday from her first Lohri celebrations after their wedding. The couple has been doling out some amazing memories from all their firsts, and now professionally too, Katrina is all set to start work on her first film after her wedding, as according to a report in ETimes, there is a new update on the same.
On Christmas last month, Katrina announced her maiden collaboration with director Sriram Raghavan, titled Merry Christmas, where she is paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi. And according to the report, Katrina will start shooting for the film in Mumbai from February 10. A source close to the development has informed that the actress will complete the film in one go, and after completing the studio schedule, the team will move on to shooting at live locations across the city.
The report further added that Sriram is expected to wrap up the film in 60 days straight. While the film is entirely based in Mumbai, the director might shoot for a few days in Pune as well, as that is the city where he has grown up. Merry Christmas is produced by Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray.
Considering the vision that Sriram brings to the screen in his films, I am sure that Merry Christmas will turn out to be a turning point in Katrina’s career. And to add to that, this is the first film the actress has announced and worked on since her wedding last month, so that makes it a little more special.
