It's been four years since we saw Aamir Khan on-screen and that's why I'm so looking forward to Laal Singh Chaddha. The film which is an official remake of the Hollywood classic Forest Grump is expected to release on April 14, 2022 now, depending on the Covid scenario.

Interestingly, Naga Chaitanya is set to make his Bollywood debut in this Aamir Khan-starrer and he's pretty excited about it. Talking about the film in an interview with Pinkvilla,

Chaitanya expressed,

"I am very excited and can’t wait for everyone to watch it in the cinema halls. The role has come out so well, and even the team is excited. They have adapted it to our Indian culture and it’s the Indian sensibilities that intrigued me the most. They have covered some really important events down our time line."

The film is directed by Advait Chandan and reportedly Khan and Advait have been contemplating to increase Chaitanya's role in the film. But the latter revealed in this interview that he's finished shooting his part.

Laal Singh Chaddha spans over five decades and stars Kareena Kapoor Khan opposite Aamir. Interestingly, Kareena had even auditioned for her role in the film and finished shooting her part in the initial days of her second pregnancy.

Totally looking forward to the film's trailer being unveiled soon and the film to hit the theatres even sooner!
