But what I am liking is this current phase that the TV industry is in, today, not only are we seen actors from the small screen exploring the films and OTT space, but one thing that they are really acing is the music singles arena. Recently, I saw Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya‘s song Baabu Da Vedha and it made me realize how the ladies on TV are not just limiting themselves to playing the ‘adarsh bahus’ on-screen. In fact, it is quite a refreshing change to see our television actresses don a glamorous avatar as they put their party shoes on.

Actress Hina Khan who we have seen on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Bigg Boss 11, and even Khatron Ke Khiladi has featured in many music videos. But her latest one with Saheer Sheikh called Mohabbat Hai has really connected with people on a big level. This song became so big because it has been directed by Mohit Suri and sung by Stebin Ben.
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya
TV’s favorite mother Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya also took us all by surprise with her ‘Magar Rani’ avatar on Khatron Ke Khiladi. But let me tell you, she will also pull your heartstrings with her latest music single called Babul Da Vedha. This is her debut music video where we see her in a bridal avatar, and once again Divyanka manages to steal your heart with this one.
Rubina Dilaik
Right after winning Bigg Boss 14, Rubina Dilaik treated us to many music videos, Tumse Pyaar Hai and Shah Rukh Khan being the latest. And my favorite after Marjaneya was Tumse Pyaar Hai in which she featured along with her husband Abhinav Shukla. Boy, this couple’s oh-so-romantic music video always has my heart. And do you know, Rubina also has a film coming up soon? It’s called Ardh and I am waiting to know more details about it.

Actress Surbhi Jyoti has been quite loved for her performances in Qubool Hai 2.0 and also in her film Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai? But what she also left people talking about was her latest music video with Raftaar called Ghana Kasoota. I must say, it’s quite a groovy number and in it, Surbhi will win your heart.

Bigg Boss 14‘s Jasmin Bhasin keeps winning our hearts with her videos on social media. And while I adore her bond with Aly Goni, the couple treated us to a super cute music video called Tera Suit. And after this Jasmin treated us to eight more music singles. In fact, her latest music video Pyaar Karte Ho Na with Mohsin Khan is probably what fairytales are made of. Other than music videos, Jasmin also has a Punjabi film coming up with Gippy Grewal called Honeymoon.
Well, I am quite amazed and happy to see these actresses explore projects beyond television. And while you pick a favorite, for me it is the Hina-Shaheer song, Mohabbat Hai.
