Other than ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, Here Are 5 Other Films Of Allu Arjun That You Need To Watch

Nawaz Kochra

Right from the time, I have seen Pushpa: The Rise, I have not been able to stop gushing about the actor. The Telugu film star has been acting since the age of three and his growth in cinema is very evident with the finesse in his performances. With Pushpa being his latest there has been a diverse range of roles Allu Arjun has played and what really amazes me about his journey is that there has not been an award that he hasn’t won so far. With an acting prowess so stellar, and the coolness of Pushparaj, I am eagerly waiting for the next part, Pushpa: The Rule.

And till that release, I have decided to treat myself to some other amazing films that Arjun has been a part of.

Here are 5 other films of the Telugu star that I plan to watch soon:

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo

The action drama starring Allu Arjun with Pooja Hegde went on to receive some great reviews. And while Arjun’s performance was lauded in the film, this one also went to become the first film of his career that earned a whopping Rs 200 crores. In fact, many hailed Allu Arjun as the silver lining in this film.

Race Gurram

This 2014 action comedy not only became Arjun’s first Rs 100 crore grosser, but it also won him many awards. While Allu Arjun’s portrayal of the carefree Lucky is something not worth missing out, the film’s storyline is also quite appreciated.

Vedam

This anthology that was released in 2010 did not only receive critical acclaim, it also won lots of awards. In fact, the Allu Arjun starrer has been included in the list of the 25 greatest Telugu films of the decade. And Cable Raju’s performance in this film is surely not worth missing.

Arya

The romantic action film went on to become a commercial success in 2004. Not just this, it also received a positive response. This film also got Arjun a huge fanbase and it ran in theaters for straight 50-days.  Arya was also remade in Bengali.

Desamuduru

Desamuduru was released in 400 theatres and the romantic action film is one of Allu Arjun’s career’s most successful films. In fact, the film ran in theaters for 365 days and became the second-highest-grossing Telugu film of 2007.

Being a new fan of Allu Arjun, I am totally gearing up to be a true fan, before Pushpa 2 releases in theaters. And in case, you haven’t watched any of these films, you too can watch them soon.
