The relationship between a father and a daughter is always a special one, and having a sister, I have witnessed that first hand between her and my father in my own family. There is an unspoken equation of friendship as well as a protective feeling between the two. While there is a long time for me to maybe experience that feeling myself, seeing our Bollywood celebs celebrating their daughters on National Girl Child Day today has me smiling from eye to eye. And amongst them is Aparshakti Khurana who has penned a beautiful letter for daughter Arzoie Khurana.

The actor and wife Akriti Khurana became parents to Arzoie just last year on August 27, and Aparshakti has been a doting father to her ever since. His heartwarming moments with her that he shares on social media just express the affection he has for her. Thus, taking on social media today, the actor has shared a heartfelt note for Arzoie, that has touched my heart.

Check out the note here:

Putting his feelings into words, Aparshakti wrote,

“Life feels like a feel-good Bollywood movie since the day you were born. Because of you, I know what it feels like to have your dream come true. Because of you, I understand the word ‘Family’ a little better.”

The actor insisted that even though she is too little to understand all this, but Arzoie’s “Paapoo” will always be by her side no matter what. He asserted that now he understands what his parents meant when they said that a kid will always be a kid for their parents. He gave his humorous touch to the letter as well, and his closing just has my heart.

He said,

“P.S. It feels amazing to see you sleep in my arms when I sing Arziyan Saari Mai Chehre Pe Likh Ke Laya Hoon. Is it the power of music? Or is it my voice that makes you go “I’d rather be asleep than listen to this!” So, you legit go 💤 zzz ooooo zoooooo.”

The transformation in Aparshakti ever since Arzoie was born, has been evident and I have loved this new side of the actor. Seeing this beautiful bond between these two, I just wish for a lifetime of happy memories for them, some of whom I wish to see on social media as well.
