Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Badhaai Do, has been garnering immense curiousity ever since the film has been announced and now that the trailer is out, I’m left asking for more! The trailer is such a fun-ride and promises so much, that I can’t wait to watch it.

Doesn’t this trailer look like a lot of fun? I loved how the film revolves around the backdrop of homosexuality, will be a conversation starter and yet be so entertaining in its core. The two actors get married to keep their family’s pressure at bay and keep each other’s secret of being homosexual. Being a spiritual successor to Badhaai Ho, the film has immense expectations and going by the trailer, I feel like it will live up to those. Rajkummar and Bhumi are fabulous as actor and I’ve been loving their graph but they also look so fresh in this trailer, in never-seen-before avatars. Both the actors feel that the journey on this film would be remembered forever. Here’s what Rajkummar had to say while sharing the trailer, and Bhumi had the exact same sentiment.
Interestingly, earlier the film was supposed to release on February 4 but now it’s been pushed to a week later. Badhaai Do will now hit the theatres on February 11, 2022, which means it will coincide with Gehraiyaan. Though, the latter is going to stream on Amazon Prime.
I’m totally looking forward to Badhaai Do to hit the screens and can’t wait for the fun to unfold. What about you?
