Huma Qureshi is quite the powerhouse of an actor and it’s possible that she knows to play to her strengths and picks roles that will allow her to shine bright. She was last seen in Bell Bottom opposite Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Vaani Kapoor and is currently busy shooting for Valimai a Tamil action thriller film opposite Ajith Kumar and Kartikeya Gummakonda. She’s even come together with Sonakshi Sinha in a social comedy called Double XL that addresses the topic of body shaming, which both actresses have been on the receiving end of. Huma is also filming for Netflix original Monica, O My Darling. So it looks like she’s pretty sorted on the work front.
However, currently, the star is busy with promotions for her upcoming web series called Mithya which is set to premiere on ZEE5 soon. Set in Darjeeling, the show explores a complicated dynamic between her (a Hindi literature professor Juhi) and her student Rhea (played by Avantika Dassani, daughter of actor Bhagyashree). Celebrity stylist Mohit Rai styles Huma Qureshi in a wild, leopard print pantsuit from Shop Monokrom by Shereen & Trishala. The set features a structured, oversized blazer worn over a V-neck bralette paired with high-waisted, cropped, wide-leg trousers. I guess this is the new take on monochrome, wearing matching prints in the same colour palette. Have to tell ya’ll we’re totally digging this trend and might give it a go ourselves too! For accessories she wears, gold earrings and midi-rings from Misho Designs and chunky, high-heel combat boots from Ego Official. It looks like she’s ready to go to a sexy battle in the jungle.
Makeup artist Ajay Vishwasrao plays around with a bold turquoise eyeliner, rosy, flushed cheeks and a muted lip. And hairstylist Susan Emmanuel goes down the wild route and plays with textures, leaving the hair bouncy and packed with tiny curls. Not sure how much we love this hairdo with such a slick look but the makeup really kicks it up a few notches for sure!
