Who is Krutika? Tell us a little about yourself.
I have always been into art. I like making relatable content, doing cosplays and thematic makeup looks. In my spare time, I like to watch anime, Kdrama, and play video games.
How does it feel to be a Gen-Z creator?
When it comes to being a creator, I really enjoy the process a lot. The fun begins when I get an idea of what I’m gonna make, and put together the entire video, and in the end the overwhelming love from the fam and push to do more feels amazing.
How and when did you start your YouTube journey?
I have been a content consumer on YouTube for a very long time, and that’s pretty much how I got the inspiration to start my journey of making skits, vlogs and just sharing the experience while doing something fun with my fam on YouTube
How do you ideate for your YouTube Shorts content?
To put it simply, I observe. It’s just the day-to-day happenings with or around me which inspire my short skits.
What was your biggest motivation to start making content?
I had an inclination towards art since childhood, but it all became more fun when I started watching anime and started drawing their features. I learned makeup from YouTube and played around with it a lot, and here I am experimenting looks for a living.
Your fashion looks are one of a kind, what is your inspiration behind those looks?
Like I said, anime is what inspired me. I have a dark and edgy taste when it comes to fashion and makeup.
You became very popular and successful at a very young age. When you experienced such fame, what did it feel like?
With power comes responsibility. With fame comes credibility. There are pros and cons to everything, but I like to focus on the pros and focus on my art.
With so many followers, don’t you feel like there is a sense of responsibility that you have towards them?
My fam has supported me endlessly, and I feel promoting something that does not resonate with me or my fam, would be like betraying them.
What advice do you have for the upcoming Gen-Z creators out there?
My advice to them would be to be authentic with their work and to enjoy the process of content creation.
