The trailer of Love Hostel presented by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment is out now and it’s so intriguing. Jyoti (Sanya Malhotra) and Ashu (Vikrant Massey) elope and get married without the consent of their families and hide in a safe home. But Jyoti’s family wants to kill the two and hires a dangerous killer, Bobby Deol for the same. Will Jyoti and Ashu be able to save themselves and be together? I must say, it’s quite gripping. All the three actors – Sanya, Vikrant and Bobby look so convincing in the trailer itself that I’m looking forward to seeing more in this series which is set to stream on Zee5. Love Hostel is directed by Shanker Raman who’s been a cinematographer for a long time with films like Laal Kaptaan, Peepli Live and Rocky Handsome. Produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma from Red Chillies Entertainment along with Manish Mundra’s Dhrishyam Films, this series definitely looks dark, hard-hitting with also a message to give out perhaps. For me, the narrative and the performances of the actors – has been the take-back from the trailer so I have high expectations from this one.
It premiers on February 25 and hoping it’s going to live up to the expectations created by the trailer.
