Alia Bhatt is a talented actress who has managed to take a piece of our hearts ever since her first leading role in Student of the Year in 2012. Currently, the actress is actively promoting her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi in Berlin. This certainly warrants some stunning, statement looks and Alia did not disappoint. From traditional and ethnic looks to chic western looks the star can ace just about any style! Her stylist Ami Patel surely knows what she’s doing with these looks. Not to forget her makeup artist Puneet B Saini and hairstylist Mike Desir who did a killer job at complimenting each look.

Let’s have a look, shall we?

1. In Dolce & Gabbana

Alia looked like an absolute princess as she adorned a gorgeous, white gown from Dolce & Gabbana. The clean, white base of the dress featured some unique, laser cut-out detailing that added character to it and made it stand out. The strapless dress cinches in at the waist and continues to flow out gracefully giving it that ballgown vibe. She also threw on a structured coat that added a chic touch to the outfit. Alia’s cropped locks were left loose with messy waves and a side parting to highlight the fresh roses. Her makeup was kept minimal with rosy cheeks and a pink lip that complemented her outfit flawlessly. Getting hitched in this pretty white dress is definitely something I can imagine!

2. In Nobi Talai

For this look, the diva is seen wearing a satin blazer which is a whole outfit in itself if you ask me! Alia paired this double-breasted blazer from Nobi Talai with flared, pleated pants. This look is the perfect balance between sophisticated and fun with a clever mix of textures. She accessorised the look with a pair of massive drop earrings that featured a heavy dose of pearls from Amama. She is also seen adorning a mirror band ring along with a white resin ring from Isharya and a gold ring from Viange Vintage. Her hair was styled in a messy bun, allowing the statement earrings to be the focal point. Her makeup overall had a refreshing peachy hue to it with a couple of subtle freckles that added a super cute touch to the look.

3. In Rimple & Harpreet

Following the white streak of this Berlin leg of promotions, Alia grabbed all the attention in this lovely, custom made saree from Rimple & Harpreet.

On asking the designers about the outfit, they said

We wanted the look to be young and modern, in sync with Alia’s personality and at the same time, we wanted it to be evocative of the powerful and iconic role she is portraying. Keeping that in mind we conceptualised an ivory saree with tonal embroideries and shimmering sequins, which was in a way our interpretation of her reel character on the red carpet.

Our love of collecting vintage textiles from around the world became the catalyst in designing this saree. For the embroideries, we referenced Edwardian and French lace shawls that are part of our personal archives. The embroideries were deftly crafted on the fragile, chiffon base using various techniques such as shadow work, jaali ka kaam, aari ka kaam and were further layered with hand-cut sequins, mother of pearl paillettes and imported pearls. The scalloped palla was edged with a hand-knotted macrame fringe and the look was completed with a sequin encrusted blouse. 30 of our best and most skilled karigars came together to create this sublime and ethereal saree.

For accessories, she went with a pair of dangly, emerald earrings from Anjali Bhimrajka Fine Jewels. Alia’s makeup was every bit as glam as her outfit with a glowy base, shimmery eyeshadow and ruby red lips and her hair was put in a slick-back bun with a couple of white roses in it.
