Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher who were last seen together in Breathe : Into The Shadows, will be teaming up again for R. Balki’s Ghoomer. As per sources, Saiyami will be seen playing a cricketer in the film while Bachchan is set to play her coach. The film also stars Shabana Azmi. This news is really exciting because we all know how magical was AB’s collab with Balki in the past with Paa. I’m so looking forward to this.
Interestingly, Saiyami has played cricket at school level for Maharashtra and even made it to the National team selection, but opted for Badmintion state championship instead. So, one can expect her to ace this character of a cricketer.
The film’s shoot interestingly began on Bachchan’s birthday.

While AB has still been getting some rave reviews for Bob Biswas, he also has Dasvi lined up apart from Ghoomer. Saiyami on the other hand will be seen in Tahira Kashyap’s film, Sharmaji Ki Beti and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Faadu. The next season of Breathe has also gone on floors where the two actors will team up.
Well, Ghoomer definitely looks interesting with this whole team and I absolutely cannot wait to see it.
