Esha Deol had been missing from the screen for a while until last year, when she made her return with the short film Ek Duaa. Being a ’90s kid, I have literally seen her career shape up in front of my eyes, thus there is a certain connection that I have with the actress, thus I was thrilled to see that she was all set to get back on screen with the web series Rudra alongside Ajay Devgn. And now, there is one more addition to the list of her upcoming projects.

The actress will be seen alongside Suniel Shetty in a series titled Invisible Woman, which is touted to be a noir action thriller. It marks the foray of Yoodlee Films, the cinematic arm of India’s oldest music label Saregama, into the web space and is also the digital debut of Suniel. The series has now gone on the floors.

An excited Esha says,

“A project like this is truly fantastic. It explores an unusual genre. The story has mystery, intrigue and great scope for histrionics. And to work with Suniel Anna again is an absolute delight . Shooting has begun & it feels just great.”

Siddharth Anand Kumar, Vice President – Films, Saregama India adds,

“We are just thrilled to have Esha on board and to have her join an amazing assembly of actors for our very first series. We needed someone like her to add another layer of talent to the ensemble and everybody is excited to have her aboard.”

Apart from Suniel and Esha, the series also features Rahul Dev, Sudha Chandran, Chahat Tewani, Karanvir Sharma, Mihir Ahuja, Gargi Sawant, Mir Sarvar, Teena Singh, Siddharth Kher and Enakshi Ganguly.

The production house recently also announced a fictional series based on Kamal Amrohi‘s and Meena Kumari’s legendary love story during the making of the epic Pakeezah which is slated to go on floors in 2023. As for Esha, she will next be seen in Rudra, whose intriguing trailer recently created waves upon its unveiling. It feels great to see such talents occupy a place for themselves in the OTT space as the platform has given that chance to many. I am excited to see how has Esha evolved in her craft during this break and I am sure she will be amazing as always.
