Madhuri Dixit is no stranger in Bollywood; the starlet has been around for almost four decades and continues to still blow our minds with her work. We’ve watched her take on the big screen and now she’s soon going to take over the streaming space as well with her acting debut in Netflix’s drama-thriller The Fame Game. Madhuri plays a Bollywood biggie called Anamika Anand who goes missing and set off an investigation that reveals dark secrets about her so-called glamorous life. It exposes the tumultuous side of fame, the hidden sadness and scandals of the film industry. The Fame Game brings together Madhuri and Sanjay Kapoor who last shared screen space together 25 years ago in Raja and Mohabbat.

I can tell you this, I binged watched the show in a matter of a few hours and was at the edge of my seat throughout. It was an absolute pleasure to watch Madhuri play Anamika in a show that grips you instantly and you forget that you’re watching Madhuri act, it’s almost too believable and when that happens you know the show you’re watching is going to be a success. Read on to see what Madhuri wore to the screening of the show.

Let’s take a closer look at Madhuri Dixit‘s sparkly all-black OOTD:

Celebrity stylist Ami Patel styles Madhuri Dixit in a dazzling, sequin midi-dress from Nadine Merabi. The bodycon strapless, pencil dress features a feathered bodice and feather hemline and is made up of shiny black beadwork. It also has a boning under the corset to cinch the waist and create the illusion of a teeny tiny waistline. A detachable velvet belt frames the silhouette further. Madhuri aces this sophisticated look with diamond dangly earrings from Mahesh Notandass Fine Jewellery and strappy black heels that I feel didn’t really add much to the overall look.

Makeup artist Lekha Gupta gave Madhuri a clean base of makeup with rosy, bronzed cheeks, kohl-lined eyes with heavy mascara and glossy nude lips. While the makeup was in sync with the look the hair felt like a miss. Nilam Kenia gave her wavy hair that didn’t do much to frame her face. A low ponytail might have added more impact and polish to this wonderful look.
