The month of March begins on a high note for Kareena Kapoor Khan as she takes to Instagram to launch Zimmerman in India. If you slide to the next slate you’ll find your way to some BTS footage of the shoot, which was fun to watch because now you also know what the final product looks like. Even though it was shot against a green screen the look and feel of being transported to a beach come through effortlessly. Of course, Bebo brings her charm and oomph factor to the look but the highlight, however, is the styling that feels relaxed and effortless but trendy. On the work front we last saw Kareena in Angrezi Medium, the movie was a measured attempt to work outside of her comfort zone. After nearly a 2 year hiatus, she will be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, a remake of the American movie, Forrest Gump opposite Aamir Khan. The two will be seen together after 3 Idiots and Talaash. She also has Karan Johar’s Takht coming up.

Celebrity stylist Lakshmi Lehr styles Kareena Kapoor Khan in head-to-toe Zimmermann as she launches the brand on AjioLuxe in India. This beach-themed, nautical-inspired look has us dreaming of jetting off to a remote island to disappear for a few days. To break down the look further, Kareena sports an oversized shirt with postcard print all over it; the shirt also features a classic collar, chest patch-pocket detailing and raffia edging throughout. The cost of the shirt is Rs. 46,799/-. She expertly layers this short-sleeved blouse over a basic, white bikini top.
The shirt is tucked into a red and white striped, cotton mini skirt that features white piping around the waistband and some red and white frayed edging. Living for those gold buttons with anchor detailing down the side of the skirt. The skirt costs Rs. 39,599/-. To complete the look, she accessorises her look with a chain link, gold-pendant necklace, a chunky, gold ring and strappy white heels. I could totally imagine walking around in an oversized sun hat with large black sunglasses, walking around barefoot, sandals in hand. Definitely felt like I was transported to a beach, even if the joy lasted for only a few minutes!
Celebrity makeup artist Mickey Contractor gives Kareena sunkissed, dewy makeup with strong brows, smokey, kohl eyes, flushed cheeks and muted, nude lippie. Hairstylist Yianni Tsapatori gives her tonged, big waves that work wonderfully well with her beachy-nautical outfit!
