Actress Nitu Chandra has been winning hearts for her work in Never Back Down: Revolt and she’s thrilled about it. There are very few actresses who can pull off their own action sequences and Nitu has done it like a boss in a Hollywood film.

Ask her about the appreciation she’s got for it and Nitu says,

“I’ve got such good feedback for Never Back Down : Revolt that I’m working on two more Hollywood projects which I can’t speak about right now. I want to thank people for such appreciation for my character Jaya. I’m looking forward to working more and more, globally.”

One of these is an action movie and the other is a horror one. Without divulging much into the details, here’s what she had to say.

Nitu adds,

“I can’t talk much about my upcoming projects but I can only say that one is an action movie, the other is a horror movie. We are working towards it, and it’s signed. But, it has to be introduced by the studio so this is just what I can share. I’m very excited about it.”

Interestingly, the actress has also been a producer for films like Deswa and Mithila Makhaan. Ask her if her experience of working in Hollywood has taught her more about acting and production and she says that all that matters is team work.

The actress shares,

“I’ve realized that everything in a film goes hand in hand, there’s nobody bigger or smaller. It’s team work to get a great production out. I personally feel that when producers and actors go hand in hand, and respect each other, things go really well.”

Despite getting immense appreciation for films like Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and 13B, Nitu perhaps is still under-rated as an actress. But she only is willing to explore many genres and she’s happy it’s happening now.

She expresses,

“After this action movie I want to do more of action and infact every genre like thrillers and horror. As an actor, it’s amazing to do different genres because you feel like you’re just removing the attire of one character and moving to another. I deserve it and deserve more and more. For the last couple of years, I’ve not been able to do things that I was looking forward to. But now I’m going to do a lot of things and they’re coming my way as well.”

It’s always so good to see an Indian actor getting appreciated globally and here’s wishing a lot more of that for Nitu!
