Sidharth Malhotra had a momentous last year as he gave his career-best performance till date as Captain Vikram Batra in the biopic Shershaah. The film made me and everyone across the nation see him in a new light, and the actor proved his mettle as an actor with the film. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna also had an amazing end to 2021 with Pushpa: The Rise, as the film became a pan-India blockbuster. I was already waiting with bated breath for her Hindi film debut as she is collaborating with Sidharth in RSVP and Guilty By Association Media‘s Mission Majnu, and now I have a date for the same.
The makers took to social media today morning to announce the new release date of this actioner as Mission Majnu is now all set to hit the theatres on June 10, 2022. It is directed by Shantanu Bagchi, and the espionage thriller is set in the 1970s with Sidharth playing the role of a RAW agent who lead a covert operation on Pakistani soil.

After the successful 2021 that he had, Sidharth’s next outing on screen is much awaited and Mission Majnu seems to be the perfect follow up to the amazing performance he gave in Shershaah. Also, Rashmika is already the National Crush, so the Hindi film audience, which also includes me, has been waiting eagerly for her arrival here. This one seems to be a power-packed outing and this fresh pairing of such good looking people, has just left me more curious to see the film on screen. These two will certainly set the box office on fire.
