Kriti Sanon is totally on cloud 9 lately with the kind of films coming her way. I love the fact that the actress has such varied projects lined up starting from Bachchhan Paandey, Adipurush, Bhediya and Ganapath amidst more. The actress will be seen in all together different genres and looks in all these and I’m so excited.

Ask the actress about this variety in her kitty and here’s what Kriti says,

“I’ve signed my maximum number of films so far in 2020 which is very strange but I think people were sitting at home and writing took place in that time. I had very different kind of films that came to me which is always difficult for every actor, but now I can choose to be a part of different kinds of worlds. So, these are all sorts of films which I was in talks in 2020 and we started shooting when things opened up. I’m finally getting the opportunity to choose from, in larger number. It’s very easy to get typecast and get the same kind of roles. For example, you do a Bareily Ki Barfi and then 90 percent of films coming to me were from the similar genre. But it’s nice to reach a point where now I see people coming to me and asking, so what kind of a film you want to do, which is very rare. It’s not something I’ve heard before this year, so it’s very exciting. I can tell people now that I want to do this genre or I haven’t touched this character or I want to play a grey character. That change happens so gradually that sometimes and you don’t even realise that. You have to just look back and it strikes. So, touchwood this is now happening.”

Bachchhan Paandey which is set to release on March 18 sees her play a director and share screenspace with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi amidst many other talented actors.

Talking about choosing the film, the actress says,

“What I saw in her is that she was really gutsy and she has the guts to come alone to Baghwa, call her friend with her and be in this dangerous world of men to shoot the film. I think she’s very gutsy and that’s something which attracted me to the character also.”

I’m so looking forward to this film which already gives such vibes of full-on entertainment!
