While Amitabh Bachchan is a name that has become synonymous to the Hindi film industry and needs no introduction, Ajay Devgn is a legend in his craft as well. So, them teaming up for a project had to be something extraordinary. Ever since the announcement was made that these two superstars were coming together in Ajay’s next directorial, Runway 34, I had been invested in it from the word go. Today, the makers released a teaser of the film and it has left me spellbound.

The teaser doesn’t give out much about the story but it shows you Ajay taking to the sky with his co-pilot Rakul Preet Singh, in what attempts to be a life or death kind of a situation. The intensity, fear and concern in the eyes of both Ajay and Rakul just pierced right through me, leaving me shaken. And as soon as Big B says his dialogue, I can’t help but be under his spell. While I am not certain about it, but it seems like we are going to get to see a Ajay vs Amitabh dynamic in the film and that is going to be its USP.
Runway 34 marks Ajay’s return to direction after six years and going by the teaser, I am sure that along with a heart-rendering story, I will also get a visual spectacle on screen. The film also features Boman Irani, Aakanksha Singh and Angira Dhar, and is inspired by true events. While the trailer of the film drops on March 21, the film is looking for an Eid release on April 29, 2022. The teaming up of Ajay and Big B, and now this chilling teaser has just increased my curiosity level for the film to a 100.
